In the grand scheme of things I'm not that interesting a Twitterer.
When someone does follow me it's a big event.
In the last hour I was followed by "salespersentation" and
"golfshirts". I didn't even need to look at their Twitter posts to
know that they were automatted bots sending out articles of absolutly
no interest to me.
If I get two in one hour I can't imagine what Calacanis or Scoble get.
I have to say I am in favor of adding a CAPTCHA to the "follow"
function. It will cut down on the number of useless accpunts
corrupting Twitter.
