I'm not sure how I was able to make it to the theater to see Hugo, without having any idea what the story was about. Much to my surprise it turned out to be a movie that had so many of the things that I love.
There are many GOOD movies - there are only a few that are GREAT, and Hugo is one of them. It vividly recreate Paris in the 1920's and has a story that immediately captures your attention and never lets you go.
The cast is superb, the direction, flawless. An instant classic. Let's face it - any movie that includes scenes from Harold Lloyd's classic comedy "Safety Last" is an instant hit with me. Go see it.
