Ubuntu Blog Poster

Just downloaded Blog Entry Poster and set it up for Blogger. Took all of two seconds. Pretty simple interface allows bolding, italics and adding a link. No support for images but hey for what itś worth itś pretty easy and simple.

I upgraded the memory on my Dell Dimensions 2400 from 256Mb to 1GB and Ubuntu is flying now. I´m loving it.

Google Presentation is finally here

Seems worth the wait. Looks like you can actually give presentations online with an audience viewing. It allows you to upload a ppt file and once you create your presentation it lets you download one zip file of all the HTML and JavaScript to play back the presentation offline. There is a simple print view and of course the collaboration features already available in Google Docs and Spreadsheets.

I am really looking forward to playing with this. I love docs and spreadsheets and use them just about every day.

My PEN Drive

I had a pretty complete suite of Pen Drive applications as well as some small utilities and scripts I wrote myself. Last week I finally took the plunge and installed the Portable Apps suite and I have to say I love it. I finally ported over all of my apps that were not Portable App compatible. Everything you need to function can be carried in less than 3GB.

An Ajax only solitaire site

This is an excellent solitaire site but it's even more amazing that there is no Flash involved. It is all JavaScript and Ajax. Amazing.
