Drop.io conference call today

Listened in on a conference call held by the folks at drop.io discussing their service and asking for opinions etc. Here's my update.

This looks like a very useful service. Publish your own book. Upload and layout your content and choose your binding style. The more you order the less expensive it is.

Looks nice for even making a vacation or special event keepsake book.

kwout the Raven.....

This is an amazing web application. It allows you to cut out any section of a any web page to add to your own. Makes nice rounded web 2.0 edges and gives you the code to drop into your page.

New version of ScrapBlog is on the way

If you have not tried ScrapBlog, then you should definitly check it out.  It let's you create a scrapbook of photo's.  It's so easy to use and it's loaded with great templates and sticker graphics.  Just got an email that a new enhanced version is on the way.  I'll get a chance to try out the beta version.  Now if only my Joost invite would show up.

I Knew It Had to be Coming

Google is preparing to add a new application to it's online office suite. This one will be a presentation application to rival Powerpoint. Rumor says it will be called "Presently", similar to the original word processor "Writely".

In the meantime Spresent is a pretty impressive flash presentation builder.
